Uppada silk comes from a town named Uppada close to the coastal town of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh . Plain Uppada double woven sarees are first woven and then the lengthy process of handpainted kalamkari is undertaken. The end result of this wonderful jugalbandi is this Uppada kalamkari saree. It takes a few months for each collection to get ready, the weather plays a very important role in the response of the natural color to fabric .Each saree is the work of a artist and extremely beautiful ❤️

The IIkal Gadwal silks are an intricate amalgamation of IIkal borders from Karnataka and Gadwal silks from Telangana. This handcrafted saree emerges beautifully into a collaboration of two contrasting colors, which evoke a sense of magic measured with grace.
